Throughout the night the body enters its natural daily cleansing cycle of the digestive tract. This is the optimum time to aid the body in that process. Bepure's Evening Formula of herbs, pro-biotics and food enzymes are know to sooth the digestive tract, restore bacterial balance, and help the digestive process through the night.
Evening Recommendations for best results:
Having some fresh squeezed veggie juice before dinner will supply good nutrients and speed this healing cleansing process. Juices from romaine lettuce, spinach, carrots, yams, apples and celery are the best and most gentle for cleansing plus, they make you feel great. If juicing is not an option then simply eat plenty of fresh and raw veggies with your evening meal. Again ... do not eat meat for dinner... brown rice with cooked veggies, Mexican foods made with beans; Italian foods without the meat are all acceptable.
- Do not eat after 8:00 pm.
- Take your evening formulation any time after 8:00 pm until you retire.
- Can't juice? Pick up organic veggi, apple or pear juices - unsweetened.
- Do not eat meat for dinner, see above.
Pro-biotics: Acidophilus & Bifidus
When you are healthy, over 100 trillion microorganisms, from some 400 different species, flourish in your intestinal tract, aiding in digestion, nutrient absorption, and the production of significant amounts of B vitamins and enzymes. But more importantly, they crowd out all harmful bacteria -- allowing them no place to gain a foothold. These organisms increase the health of the bowel while aiding in the destruction and elimination of toxins making them a primary ingredient in the evening formula.
Slippery Elm
In people with heartburn, this herb appears to act as a barrier between the damaging effects of acid on mucus membranes, which lowers inflammation locally in the stomach and in the intestines. This soothing effect may also extend into the throat. Slippery Elm is one of the best demulcents for internal and external use. It lubricates and soothes alimentary mucosa, relieves intestinal irritation, and quietens the nervous system. Added to the Evening Formula to soothe the effects of the purging herbs like Black Walnut and Cascara Segrada.
Food Enzyme
Food Enzyme Complex Food enzymes have therapeutic value as a way to aid the clearing or detoxification of the digestive and lymphatic system. They breakdown the muco-proteins and fats that are often the cause of a congested colon and lymphatic system. Without the proper breakdown of proteins, fats and carbohydrates this undigested matter re-enters the bloodstream in a toxic form. Food enzymes help prevent this undesirable event.
Fennel Seed
Tea made from fennel seeds is used to ease flatulence of infants and is used by women to ease menopause symptoms. Syrup made from fennel juice or fennel seeds are used to treat chronic coughs and catarrh. After meals, they are used in several cultures to prevent gas and upset stomach. Fennel has also been used as a remedy for cough and colic in infants. We have added fennel to ease the effects of the putrefactive substances passing out of the colon at times causing some gas.
Green Papaya Enzymes
Papaya is the only known source of papain. Papain acts to thoroughly digest protein, and frees amino acids for quick absorption. It works in acid, alkaline, or neutral environments, and is especially valuable for the aged or anyone who has weak digestion due to enzyme deficiencies. The fruit also contains an even stronger protein- digesting enzyme. Other phytonutrients in green papaya help create a healthier intestinal tract by restoring proper intestinal oral. Carpaine, an alkaloid found in green papaya, reportedly has antibacterial properties that neutralize many types of harmful bacteria and parasites. The enzymes in papaya can also enhance carbohydrate and fat digestion processes with antiseptic qualities, which helps prevent the abnormal proliferation of harmful bacteria in the intestines. The pH of the intestines is then kept normalized with the addition of acidophilus and bifidus, which aids in normalizing the intestinal oral. In combination with probiotics and food enzymes, green papaya is a powerful digestion health enhancer. Its addition to the formulation is essential.
Black Walnut Hulls
A substance taken to expel or control parasites is technically called a "vermifuge." The fruit, leaves and bark of the Black Walnut tree offer many other benefits such as relieving constipation and is also useful against fungal and parasitic infections. The high tannin content is primarily responsible for its anti-parasitic properties, although other constituents such as juglandin and juglone also work gradually to restore tissue health and act as an antibiotic. It is believed that Black Walnut Hull oxygenates the blood to kill parasites. The brown stain found in the green husk contains organic iodine which has antiseptic and healing properties to fight fungal and bacterial infections.
Barberry Root
Barberry is one of the best remedies for correcting liver function and promoting the flow of bile. It is recommended when there is an inflammation of the gall bladder or in the presence of gallstones. When jaundice occurs due to a congested state of the liver, Barberry is also indicated. As a bitter tonic with mild laxative effects, it is suggested for weak or debilitated people to strengthen and cleanse their system. It has been used to reduce an enlarged spleen. For these reasons Barberry in small amounts in conjunction with the other ingredients acts as a cleanser of the entire digestive system.
Ginger Root
Ginger's anti-inflammatory properties are thought to help relieve pain and reduce inflammation associated with arthritis, rheumatism and muscle spasms. Ginger's therapeutic properties are believed to effectively stimulate blood circulation, removing toxins from the body, cleansing the bowels and kidneys, and nourishing the skin. Added here for its bowel cleaning effects and stomach healing properties.
Casgara Sagrada
The value of Casgara Sagrada as a laxative is clear for easing constipation, when it's taken properly and at a safe dosage. In fact, Casgara Sagrada is such a mild laxative that it can safely be used by the elderly and for the mild constipation that can occur following anal or rectal surgery, as it prevents the pressure and pain associated with hemorrhoids and anal fissures. Herbalists have had great success using the herb as a purgative for the colon and small intestine. Added to this formula to work in harmony with other ingredients to keep the colon open and toxins moving out.
